In August 2024, we planted a yam seedling in a sack as part of our ongoing research and development initiatives. To our surprise, yesterday (January 31st, 2025), we harvested the seedling and discovered it had produced two distinct tubers. This unexpected outcome provides valuable insights into the potential of sack farming for yam cultivation.
