Hey everyone! We're so excited to share some big news – or should we say, bunny news! We've welcomed two adorable rabbits to Good-Deal Mini Farm, and it's officially kicked off our journey into animal husbandry. We're total newbies when it comes to raising rabbits, so we figured, why not share our learning experience with you all?

This is the start of a new blog series, "Rabbit Raising 101," where we'll be documenting everything we learn about caring for our long-eared friends. We'll cover all the basics, from setting up their hutch and choosing the right food to keeping them healthy and happy. We're talking everything a beginner needs to know.

We know there's a lot to learn, and we're bound to make some mistakes along the way. But that's part of the adventure, right? We hope you'll join us as we hop into the world of rabbit raising! Recently, we experienced a significant milestone in our ongoing experiments with sack farming. In August 2024, we planted a yam seedling in a sack as part of our ongoing research and development initiatives. To our surprise, yesterday (January 31st, 2025), we harvested the seedling and discovered it had produced two distinct tubers. This unexpected outcome provides valuable insights into the potential of sack farming for yam cultivation.
